Job Descriptions:

The Accountant Officer, based in Nawi Saadi Travel Office  Kabul, Afghanistan, is a full-time, on-site role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial reports, handling cash receipts and payments, managing daily cash closing, following up on accounts receivable, reconciling supplier statements, and supporting day-to-day finance operations. The role plays a key part in ensuring transparency, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial activities of the organization.

Job Requirements:

 Qualifications Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  4. Proficiency in accounting softwares.
  5. Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  6. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Keeping
    1. Maintain and update general ledger, journals, and accounting records.
    2. Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
  2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
    1. Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
    2. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
  3. Bank & Cash Management
    1.  Reconcile bank statements and cash books.

Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
