Job Descriptions:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct carpet weaving training sessions for the target community.
Teach advanced and modern carpet weaving techniques.
Supervise carpet weaving workshops in vocational centers and provide technical consultation.
Evaluate and report on progress to the project team.
Provide training to improve the quality and speed of production.
Market and sell the produced products.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Minimum Grade 12 graduate. Preference will be given to those with higher education.

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in carpet weaving training and working in carpet weaving workshops.

Skills:

Technical and practical skills in carpet weaving.
Ability to transfer skills to women in rural areas.
Familiarity with modern carpet weaving methods.
Ability to supervise workshops and evaluate production quality.
Knowledge of local markets and effective communication with them.

Ability to work with diverse groups of women.
Problem-solving skills and ability to provide practical solutions.
Strong communication skills with local communities.
