Job Descriptions:

General Responsibilities

  1. Select HFs and HPs of the HIVA component with coordination of Badghis HER –ADB project.
  2. Conducting Harmonized Quality Improvement Program base line in selected HFs.
  3. Conducting RCA based on HQIP base line assessment, and develop PIP for improvement of the findings.
  4. Conducting TNA of MCH staff in selected HFs and develop training plan
  5. Coordinate the establishment of skill Lab room for conducting practical session in provincial office or Provincial hospital.
  6. Ensure the availability of properly functioning equipment, supplies necessary for skill Lab practice
  7. Set up all skill Lab equipment, practice sessions for female MD, midwives and female nurses of HFs
  8. Developing skill Lab practice sessions plan monthly and quarterly.
  9. Regularly supervision from performance of health workers, that they received skill Lab practical sessions
  10. Facilitated acquisition/ reinforcement of key standardized technical skill and knowledge to trainees’ for RMNH service.
  11. Conducting mentorship leaning session in HFs for female MDs, Midwives, and female nurses, and follow LDHF (Low Dose High Frequency) method in leaning sessions.
  12. Record skill Lab practical session both in skill Lab room and HFs mentorship learning sessions in lock books
  13. Coordinate HIVA activities with other stockholders, that they are involved in HIVA.
  14. Follow up implementation HIVA training plan and record the information of participant, that they trained in training database
  15. Developing monthly and quarter HIVA activities work plan and record the process
  16. Developing monthly and quarterly report of HIVA to project manager and HIVA focal point in Kabul main office
  17. Establishing Quality Improvement committee in HFs, and oversee monthly QI committee meeting and achievement.

Facilitating regular & periodic mentoring of HIVA trainers, and adherence infection prevention in delivery room.

Job Requirements:

Graduated from recognized medical faculty as a MD

Have at least 3 years’ experience in HIVA program

Fluently speaking Dari, Pashto and English
