Job Descriptions:

Organize, catalog, and maintain library materials, including books, journals, databases, and digital resources.
Implement procedures for library operations.
Improving and developing library and computer lab facilities in adherence shariah’s values.
Provide assistance to project staff and stakeholders in locating and utilizing library resources.
Develop and conduct training sessions and workshops on educational, cultural, communication, coordination and resource utilization.
Assess the information needs of the project and expand the library collections accordingly.
Evaluate and recommend new acquisitions and subscriptions based on user feedback and project requirements.
Work closely with project teams on Organizing, coordinating and facilitating meetings, training programs, workshops and seminars.
Prepare regular reports on library, computer lab and training and meeting activities, services, and development for management.

Job Requirements:

At least bachelor degree or equivalent related to public administration, social science, arts or economics.
At least three years extensive professional experience of social projects and project management preferably in the province and with multi-partners.
Good knowledge of Afghan culture, sensitivities, and ethnic structure.
Ability to travel to target provinces.
Good communication and reporting skills in local language and English, ability to communicate in both local language is an advantage.
Good skills in Microsoft Office.
