Job Descriptions:
  • To engage in teaching on undergraduate level programs as determined by the Head of Department. The range of teaching duties may change from time to time
  • Preparing lectures and presenting to students utilizing new technological sources power point multimedia etc.
  • Developing and implementing new methods of teaching to reflect changes in teaching methodology.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the Department’s programs.
  • Work in accordance with University policies and procedures to undertake assessment of students’ course work and give feedback.
  • Participate in departmental development and contribute in research if any, are conducted.
  • Motivate students regarding research and obtaining of data for research.
  • Making sure the attendance is taken every day and poor attendance is reported to the management.
  • Working closely with the Center Manager and other instructors on the class timing and closely coordinate with them.
  • Take part in relevant internal committees and working groups.
  • Develop links with relevant professional bodies and academic groups.
  • Establishing collaborative links outside the university with (external partners) industrial, commercial and public organizations for students’ practical activities.
  • Develop involvement in academic activities with industry and other. 
  • Work as a member of a team, collaborating on curriculum development and contributing to departmental meetings.
  • Setting and marking examinations papers.
  • Act as academic tutor to students as allocated by the Head of Department and act as first line contact for them for advice and support on academic matters, ensuring that students are directed to relevant support services when necessary.
  • Supervise student projects and placements as appropriate.
  • Engage in appropriate training programs in the University.
  • Participate in the staff appraisal scheme.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management and direct supervisor
Job Requirements:

We need two Lecturers for HRM subjects and two lecturers for Finance subjects in the Faculty of Economics total vacant position 4.

         Education: Master Degree MS/ MBA / MPhil with Thesis in HRM or in Finance. Overseas graduates MUST have documents attested by MoHE with Insejam Letter.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a reputed educational organization/institution. 
  • Excellent computer, MS office skills
  • Excellent language proficiency in English, Pashto and Dari

Personal Competencies:

  •  Must be hard worker, honest, punctual, and regular while having strong teaching skills.
  •  Being able to communicate with students from various backgrounds.
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Having good knowledge about subject area.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
