Job Descriptions:

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Supervise Community Based Child Protection Networks activities; support and facilitate to achieve the objectives of the project.
2. Provide capacity building training for CBCPNs in the district level.
3. Develop of case studies, project report (monthly , quarterly , annually ) , project plans ( monthly , quarterly , annually ) based on CPPM requirements .
4. Develop good filing system of Networks in the field and in the Office.
5. Conduct regular meetings with communities, parents and other stakeholders to solve child protection issues and raise children issues into the coordination meetings.
6. Monitor and evaluate CBCPN activities and report to line manager.
7. Conduct Monthly meeting and awareness sessions to parents, religious leaders, community leader and other stakeholders.
8. Follow up of children concerned cases raised with stakeholders.
9. Organize CRC training and CP training for new joint staffs in SC
10. Attend some coordination meeting as CPAN meeting in Multiple provinces in Central and Southron.
11. Conduct some Child rights information session for children, parents and other community member.
12. Developing advocacy material for the project and supporting advocacy groups in the field.
13. Monitoring from advocacy group activities at the field side.
14. Support to another project team as member of the team when it is needed. Other duties as directed.

15. Conduct surveys and assessments based on project requirements.
16. Close coordination and teamwork with VFS, WSC project team.
17. Any other task given by line manager.

 

Job Requirements:

bachelor’s degree in development field or relevant field

3 years’ experience of developing , managing and improving relationships with community and local government and NGOs.
Experience/ability of work in emergency cases and situation based on line manager comments.
Understanding of education and child protection field
Sound knowledge of rights based approaches to work with children, communities, and a creative and innovative approach to working on these issues with a proven commitment to child participation and empowerment methodologies.
Understanding of computer programs like MS. Office, typing (both Dari and English) and internet.
Proven skills in financial and staff management
Very good communication , interpersonal and negotiation skills
 Strong team leadership and team work
Strong impact and influence

Strong relationship building
Good conceptual thinking.
