Interns must meet the following criteria for entrance into the program:
Satisfactory completion of the bachelor’s level. Should be a fresh graduate of a recognized university from the Veterinary faculty in the years 2024 and 2025.
Demonstrated interest and commitment to veterinary services, animal husbandry, and livestock extension services.
Intern should be willing to learn and have a feasible plan to address the practical work experience shortfall and barriers.
Interns must show a desire to learn and actively participate in events and fieldwork.
Strong interest in addressing the needs of the targeted beneficiaries.
Ability to participate full-time during the internship for 6 consecutive months.
An intern should be from the same province or be a permanent resident.
Support DCA’s mission, vision, and value statements.
The intern should have the ability to effectively communicate with the communities.
The applicant/interns should not have previously participated in any internship programs and should not have any previous contractual agreement with the organization.
Good understanding of English (written and spoken)
Understanding of Microsoft Office.
Has good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and show initiative
Interested in working in the field (spend more time in the field, about 70%)
Respect human rights.
Respect the gender rights
Official working hours are from 8:00 am to 4 pm
Conduct themselves at all times in accordance with the standards of conduct expected of a person working in an international environment.
