Job Summary

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for promoting the BargCity platform, registering businesses, building relationships with business owners, conducting marketing and awareness activities, and supporting the growth of the platform within the assigned province. The Marketing Officer will represent BargCity in the field and ensure that quality business information is collected and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, visit, and register businesses on the BargCity platform.
• Promote BargCity services to business owners and potential clients.
• Conduct market outreach, awareness campaigns, and promotional activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and stakeholders.
• Collect accurate business information, photos, and location details.
• Provide guidance and support to businesses regarding platform features and benefits.
• Achieve monthly registration and marketing targets.
• Prepare regular activity and progress reports.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the province.
• Participate in events, exhibitions, and networking activities to promote BargCity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.

• Education: High School graduate is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

  Experience: more than 1 year of experience in marketing, sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.

  Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of marketing strategies, digital marketing tools, and CRM systems.

  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and marketing campaign results.

  • Creativity in planning and implementing promotional activities.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple tasks, events, and campaigns.

  • Ability to work independently and achieve assigned targets.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, email, and online platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Dari, Pashto, and English.
