The Community-Based and Gender-Sensitive Reintegration Project aims to support the sustainable reintegration of returnees, IDPs, and host community members through integrated community development interventions in Kunar Province.
This project seeks to improve living conditions and promote social cohesion by facilitating access to safe shelter, rehabilitating essential community infrastructure, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for vulnerable households. Through community-driven approaches, vocational skills development, apprenticeship programs, and support to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, the project will contribute to economic recovery, self-reliance, and resilience among targeted communities.
The intervention places strong emphasis on inclusion, gender sensitivity, community participation, and equitable access to services and opportunities, ensuring that women, men, youth, returnees, and vulnerable host community members can actively contribute to and benefit from local development efforts.
To support the implementation of this initiative, a roster of qualified professionals will be established for potential engagement in technical, managerial, administrative, training, monitoring, engineering, and community outreach roles. Successful candidates will be considered for assignment based on project needs, funding approval, operational requirements, and final project staffing plans.
Interested candidates are invited to submit their CVs and expressions of interest for inclusion in the project roster. Shortlisted candidates may be contacted for further assessment and verification should the project proceed to implementation.
