Job Descriptions:
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with internal medicine conditions.
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for hospitalized and outpatient cases.
  • Manage patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, liver diseases, and infectious diseases.
  • Provide consultations and second opinions for complicated medical cases.
  • Perform clinical rounds and monitor patient progress.
  • Ensure rational prescription and proper use of medications.
  • Initiate referrals for patients requiring advanced diagnostic or specialist services.
  • Provide emergency medical management for critically ill patients.
  • Participate in emergency response and stabilization of patients.
  • Support casualty management during outbreaks, emergencies, and disasters.
  • Ensure compliance with national clinical guidelines and treatment protocols.
  • Participate in medical audits, mortality reviews, and quality improvement activities.
  • Monitor adherence to infection prevention and control (IPC) standards.
  • Promote patient safety and quality healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
  • Ensure timely preparation of clinical reports and statistics.
  • Support HMIS reporting requirements related to internal medicine services.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
