New Kabul Bank started its banking activities on 18 April 2011 by having received its license as a commercial bank under banking system of the country. Ministry of Finance is the shareholder of New Kabul Bank.

New Kabul Bank is operating by CBS system and providing services for valued citizens by covering a wide network with professional and experienced cadre.

Job summary: ( هدف  وظیفه)

Network administrator is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting New Kabul Bank IT Infrastructure and Computer systems. Designs and installs LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments.

The Network Administrator will be reporting to General / Deputy General Manager –Network. .

Job Description: (شرح وظیفه)

• Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
• Install, maintain and monitor network hardware and software.
• Analyze and isolate issues and monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
• Evaluate and modify system's performance as per users need.
• Determine and suggest network and system requirements.
• Ensure updated backup of network equipment and ensure that Telecommunication room and Production data center comply with relevant standards.
• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
• Ensure network connectivity throughout New Kabul Bank Intranet and internet infrastructure which includes HQ and NKB branches.
• Design, Deploy and Monitor networks and perform network address assignment.
• Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
• Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
• Maintain network devices such as VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems, MARS, Cisco ACS, ASA, IPS etc.
• Knowledge sharing with fellow team members.
• Timely and daily reporting to seniors.
• Any other task assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Physical checkup of all the assigned Network Devices and on call availability 24/7 and ensures 100% uptime and work as a team.

EDUCATION (تحصیلات): Bachelor in Computer Application/Computer Science/ Information Technology or Management Information Systems. CCNA, CCNP routing and switching certification is required for this position

EXPERIENCE (تجارب) : Minimum 1 year of experience working with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP/RMON and RDP and working experience of routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP and OSPF and network topologies and media such as Ethernet, Frame Relay and

SKILLS (مهارت) : Excellent Network troubleshooting skills, attentive to detail. Good analytical skills. Ability to handle pressure and work long hours till the issue is resolved. In depth knowledge of routing and switching.
