• Develop a training plan in collaboration with project management, finance, and relevant departments to ensure the timely availability of resources.
• Prepare and design the training material, including training schedule, pre-and post-evaluation forms, PPT, etc.
• Prepare and organize training venues, facilitator kits, and other job aids in coordination with logistics and program staff.
• Lead the design, adaptation, and standardization of training materials on First Foods practices and nutrition on a budget
• Receive Training of Trainers (ToT) and conduct cascade trainings at provincial and community levels.
• Develop and deliver training content on home-based food fortification using Micronutrient Powders (MNP) for children 6-59 months, including children with disabilities.
• Support development of a book with local, affordable, and culturally appropriate First Foods recipes.
• Conduct trainings for Community Health Workers (male and female).
• Conduct trainings for nutrition counsellors (female)
• Facilitate participatory and practical training sessions using adult learning approaches.
• Provide technical support for integrated SBCC activities targeting caregivers of children 0-23 months and other community members.
• Support establishment and functioning of Mother Innovation Kitchens and Mother-to-Mother First Food Circles & Labs.
• Guide food demonstrations and peer learning sessions on preparation of nutritious first foods and safe feeding practices.
• Integrate nutrition-sensitive WASH messaging into First Foods trainings and community activities.
• Support distribution-related training for Household Baby First Foods WASH Packages to households with children aged 6-12 months.
• Facilitate WASH awareness sessions for male and female family members during WASH kit distribution.
• Provide on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and supportive supervision to CHWs, and nutrition counsellors.
• Ensure inclusion, gender sensitivity, and safeguarding principles are applied across all training and community engagement activities.
• Monitor and ensure quality and consistency of training delivery in line with national guidelines and project standards.
• Document training activities, training reports, lessons learned, and best practices, and contribute to project reports as required.
