The Information Technology (IT) Assistant will provide comprehensive technical support across the company, with a primary focus on computer systems, networking infrastructure, and end-user help desk services. The role encompasses troubleshooting hardware and software issues at both the main office and sub-offices, ensuring reliable and efficient technology operations for all staff. The IT Assistant will contribute to the smooth functioning of daily IT activities, system maintenance, and the timely resolution of technical challenges to support company-wide productivity
Key Function and Responsibilities:
1. Management and External Interaction
Maintain effective communication with service providers, partners, and government agencies regarding IT operations, procurement, and the development of infrastructure and security systems.
Coordinate the activities of second and third-line technical support teams.
Manage the logging, tracking, and resolution of user requests through the Helpdesk system.
Oversee IT equipment procurement orders within the automated accounting system.
Create and configure corporate phone numbers and telephony services.
2. Technical Support and IT Maintenance
Install, configure, and maintain office IT equipment (including PCs, printers, and network devices) and Microsoft-based software applications.
Provide timely and effective technical support to staff; diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), including both wired and wireless infrastructure.
Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on PCs, multifunction printers (MFPs), and other office devices.
Configure and support corporate mobile devices used for official business.
3. Accounting, Inventory, and Procurement
Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including acceptance/issuance logs, warehouse tracking, and related documentation.
Procure and monitor inventory levels of consumables (e.g., toner, cables, and peripherals).
Track and manage licensed software, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements.
Conduct annual physical inventories of IT and security equipment.
4. Security Systems Support (ACS and CCTV)
Administer and provide technical support for Access Control Systems (ACS) and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance systems.
Participate in the planning, supervision, and verification of installation and commissioning activities for ACS and CCTV systems
