About Afghanistan Relief & Sustainable Development Organization-ARSDO:

Afghanistan Relief and Sustainable Development Organization (ARSDO) founded and registered with ministry of economy Afghanistan 2017. ARSDO is one of the national Non-Profit Development Organizations in Afghanistan, with deep trenched and far-reaching social interventions in the region. ARSDO is implementing community development and empowerment programs at the grass root level and to connect it at policy level. ARSDO is implementing programs and projects i.e. Education, Health, Economic empowerment and humanitarian response with the main approach and strategy of advocacy and service delivery.

Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose:

To provide psychosocial counseling and support to individuals affected by conflict, trauma, gender-based violence, and other stress-related conditions, in accordance with national mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) guidelines and ARSDO/MoPH standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • د لمړنیو روانی مرستو وړاندی کول هغو کسانو ته چی د جنګ تروما، شکنجی تروما، جنسیتی تبعیض یی تجربه کړی دی او د لزوم په وخت کی د طبیعی پیښو نه د ژوندی پاتی کسانو لپاره لمړنی روانی مرسته وکړی
  • د روانی تروما په برخه کی سکریننګ (بیلونه) او ارزونه ترسره کړی
  • پوهاوی ورکړی، ستونزی حل کړی، خبری اتری وکړی، او د خلکو سره د جګړی، شکنجی، روانی تروما او جنسیتی تبعیض په اړه خبری وکړی.
  • د باکیفیت راپور ورکونی په خاطر، د ډیټابیس د کارکوونکو سره په دقیق ډول سره کار وکړی.

ددی څخه ځان ډاډه کړی چی د مراجعه کوونکو سره د ټولو کارونو محرمیت ساتل کیږی او اخلاقی اصول چی د کلتور سره مناسبه وی مراعت کیږی، مخصوصا د جنسیتی حساسیتونو په برخه کی

· Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients affected by trauma, violence, or social distress.

· Conduct screening and assessments for mental health and psychosocial issues.

· Raise awareness and provide psychoeducation on trauma, coping, and stress management.

· Maintain confidentiality and ensure culturally sensitive communication.

· Work closely with the database team to ensure accurate and quality reporting.

· Support community awareness sessions on mental health and psychosocial well-being.

· Participate in developing referral pathways and coordination with related health and protection actors.

· Attend supervision, debriefing, and self-care activities as required.

· Participate in meetings, workshops, and trainings to strengthen knowledge and practice.

· Perform any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, or other relevant fields.

· Previous experience working as a counselor or in related community-based programs.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Pashto and Dari (verbal and written).

· Familiarity with local cultural and community structures.

· Ability to work independently and in a mobile team environment.

· Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.

· Competent in report writing and filing
